Return & Refund Policy

Atelier Katan

At Atelier Katan, we take pride on crafting unique, custom-made products. Because of their personalized nature, most custom orders are considered final sales. However, if you receive a product with a manufacturing defect or different item, than ordered, you may be eligible for a repair, replacement or return. To initiate a return, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order with photos and detailed description of the issue. We will assess the situation and determine the best course of action, which may or may not include a repair, replacement, or partial refund. Please note that return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer or us, depending on the reason of the return.

1. Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns and exchanges under the following conditions:

  • Items must be unworn and in original condition

  • Packaging must be intact

  • Return request must be made within 14 days of delivery

  • Items must be shipped back within 7 days of return approval

2. Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on:

  • Custom-made or made-to-order items

  • Sale or discounted items

  • Gift cards

  • Items damaged due to misuse or improper care

3. How to Request a Return

To initiate a return, please contact us at:

Include your order number and a brief description of the issue.

Once your return is approved, we will provide return shipping instructions.

4. Shipping Costs

  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable

  • Return shipping is:

    • Free for defective or incorrect items

    • Paid by the customer for all other reasons

We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we are not responsible for lost return parcels.

5. Refunds

  • Partial refunds are issued to the original payment method

  • Allow 5–10 business days after we receive your return for processing

  • You will receive a confirmation email once your refund is processed

6. Exchanges

Exchanges are possible only if there is manufacturing defect or the shipped item doesn’t match the order. Please follow the same return process.

7. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you received a defective or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the issue. We’ll make it right at no cost to you.

8. International Orders

Atelier Katan is not responsible for international customs fees or delays. Return shipping for international orders is the responsibility of the customer, unless the item is faulty.
